After taking in consideration to the comments on our floor sketch we had a few things in mind to change. We decided it would be important to rearrange the top floor in order to make it more inviting, to do this we took away the narrow hallway and decided to instead make the entrance from the spiral staircase larger and rearrange the walls of the other room to accommodate this. Another problem we faced while creating the actually floor plan was room sizes; at first our room sizes became too small due to not calculating the wall thickness. We had to thus change the utility room into a simple closet and chose to use a tank less water heater rather than a tank which would have taken up significantly more space. Also to make the foyer more inviting we decided not to put a door from the foyer to the rest of the house, instead we made an opening in the wall to allow site of the next room from the entrance of the house.
Good work on re-doing your floor plans. You had a lot of changes to make and some challenges to overcome but you made it!
